Feeling abit nua nowadays. No motivation to skate.
Need some kaki.
Application for Wei Lun's skating kaki is opened now.
Please send an email to skating.kakis@weilun.com together with your years of experience in skating, whether you're a pro or noob. Preferably agro or slalom skaters.
Had this mini meeting with my department head a few days back regarding security issues. He mentioned something about humans being the weakest link in security.
This was the exact same thing that was being said to me during a lecture in Computer Network Security back in poly. The system is more trustworthy compared to humans.
Think of it this way. A computer can be secured with the latest anti virus, firewall and anti-spyware products but yet, it still can be infested with tons of viruses, adwares or spyware if the user is not properly educated on such things. He might forget to update the anti virus or disable it thinking that it's the program that's affecting the user's web surfing experience. Same goes for firewall and anti-spyware stuff.
And even with all these being installed, it doesn't mean that a computer is totally hacker-proof. It's just delaying the hacking process and it's whether your computer is worth the time and effort to hack.
I had no idea how to console you nor make your pain go away. Everything is up to you. All I can do now is just listen, whenever you need someone. But you won't be alone. That's for sure.
