Dog Whisperer.
A documentary show national geographic channel, featuring Cesar Milan, that talks about rehabilitating dogs and training them. And it's amazing how he does that without using any equipment like choke chain or anything. Just his hands, a leash/collar and his knowledge on dog psychology.
After watching this documentary, I realised that most of the times when people complained about their dogs being aggressive or disobedient, the fault doesn't lies with the dogs themselves but with the owners themselves.
Dogs don't have any idea what's wrong or what's right. It's the owners who have to define all these to the dogs and they have no idea on how to go about doing it. And whenever the dogs did something wrong, the owners' affections for their dogs got in the way and hindered them in disciplining their dogs. Not that affections are bad but it must be the right amount at the right time else it will do more bad than good.
Anyway, I went to search for information on this Cesar Milan guy and it seems like there're quite a few organisations in america that disagrees on his training methods, calling it inhumane. He only uses his hands to nudge the dogs when they're doing something wrong or to snap them out of their anxiety state of mind. I believe it's more humane compared to those who uses electric shocker.
It's subjective.
Nice song.
