Everytime people ask me "what you're gonna do after your NS?", I would just answer "Study lor.. Computer engineering at NTU"..
But I seriously have no idea how to answer when people ask me what I wanna work as in future.. IT industry is like soooooooooooooo big.. Can work as programmer, game programmer, graphics designer, network security, networking etc..
I wanna try network security or data forensics.. Comp engineering have network security but not sure about data forensics.
Network security is interesting because the only way to protect a network is to learn hack it. No joke. There're courses out that teaches you how to hack a computer so that you know how to protect it. But before you start, there'll be one agreement form that you gotta sign. An agreement that you wouldn't use the skills learnt to hack other computers.
Data forensics. Learn to recover data from harddisks that are damaged. In another words, recover information that you thought that's forever lost. That includes a crashed, damaged harddisk. Formatting doesn't help. ;)
